Project Goal
The goal of the Community Learning

What is e-learning and Distance
Education?
Many colleges and universities have
correspondence courses where you can ask your instructor questions over the
Internet and even send in your assignments using this technology. For example, Contact North at http://www.contactnorth.ca is a provider of college programs to remote communities using
Internet technology. You are able to email your teacher if you have questions
and you can email your assignments. Tuition fees apply to all courses except
Academic Upgrading offered during the day on the Contact North network.
Secondary School credit courses can be accessed through the Independent
Learning Centre website at http://www.ilc.org.
Ontario Learn at http://www.ontariolearn.com is a group of 22 colleges
which offer college courses over the Internet or by correspondence.
